I’ve been wondering: Is there a difference between the concept of joy and that of rejoice? Can we rejoice without feeling joy? What do you think?
Our passage Sunday from Philippians 4:1-9 says “Rejoice in the Lord Always.” Does that mean we are to always be happy? Like the Bobby McFerrin song “Don’t worry, be happy now,” can we just put all the worries aside and be happy?
Sunday we will rejoice in the Lord together with songs, our choir, at fellowship time, and as we pray and praise together. All are welcome as we celebrate God, who walks with us every day.
